Our Woman of the Month is a woman whose life and transforming message exemplifies God’s grace, Diane Cunningham. God’s hand is truly covering this woman’s life as evidenced in her incredible journey from overcoming alcoholism, divorce, and surviving a plane crash to going on to become the President and Founder of the National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs (NACWE), a best-selling author, and dynamic coach. We recognize Diane for truly being an inspiration in every sense of the word, for her authenticity, for always being willing to extend herself to help a sister in need, and for daring women to “Be Brave.”
Diane Cunningham, M.Ed. is the President and Founder of the National Association of Christian Women Entrepreneurs®, a global association for women to connect, create, and collaborate. NACWE offers training, conferences, networking, and business strategies. NACWE was launched in May 2010 and has been building and expanding since that time with members throughout the United States and Canada. She created NACWE in May of 2010 as a global association for women to connect, create, and collaborate through monthly online training, conferences, networking, and business strategies. This community and sisterhood is the premier place to learn marketing and mindset in a faith foundation, and it has members throughout the United States, Canada, and beyond.
In 2014, she added the Christian Women’s Leadership Institute™ to train women to become Certified Group Facilitators and to raise up leaders around the world.
Diane is also a consultant, author, video guru, artist, plane crash survivor and former masters level therapist.
She has a Master’s Degree in Education (guidance and counseling) from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington and a bachelor’s degree from the same school in interpersonal communications. She is also a Certified Mastermind Executive Coach. She worked for many years in a hospital employee assistance program, as well as with domestic violence and addictions.
She is an avid volunteer and is active in her church, local community events, and non-profit organizations that fit with her life mission. She was named one of the “Top 20 Leaders under the Age of 40” in Wichita Falls, Texas in January 2011 and chosen as the Inspirational Woman of the Month for April in Inspirational Woman Magazine.
Diane is an Amazon Best Selling author of “Rock Bottom is a Beautiful Place” and “The Inspired Business Toolkit”, along with “Dear Female Entrepreneur, My Friend”. She also co-authored “Inspired Women Succeed” along with Jo Ann Fore. Her next book about her personal journey through becoming BRAVE and taking BOLD leaps in life and love as a Christian woman is coming out in 2015. It was a comedy but is turning into a love story.
She currently lives in Grapevine, Texas with her cat Zander. She is silly, sassy, single, and sober. She has found the gift of serenity. She trusts God completely.
