Two years ago I could not have fathomed where my life would be today. In March of 2013 I was facing a rock bottom moment with my fiancé calling off our wedding on our wedding day! There really aren’t words to describe the humiliation, hurt and anger I felt that day, and for the many days, weeks and months afterwards. But today, by the grace of God, I am a happily married woman, mother, teacher, student, author, motivator, speaker, encourager and servant.
I want to share my rock bottom, gutter-most, down to the nitty-gritty moments, and my triumphant, grace-filled, absolutely beautiful life experiences with you via my blogs, books and events! Most importantly, I want to give God the glory for his extended grace and unconditional love and for blessing me with the ability to live my dreams. I am excited to share my incredible journey with you and all the ways I live a life filled with peace, grace and love:
Peace: Making peace with your decisions and learning to get over that thing that is making your heart bitter.
Grace: Accepting that God’s grace covers us even when we don’t deserve it.
Love: Learning to live a 1 Corinthians 16:14 life and “Do everything in love.”
Through discovering peace, grace and love, I hope that you are motivated to push yourself to your limits and to get out of your comfort zone; that you begin to sincerely believe that you deserve God’s unconditional love and His grace; and that you find ways to bring balance and peace into your life.
Oh, my wedding day that I mentioned earlier, you can find the complete story in “Rock Bottom is a Beautiful Place 3!” Download your copy, grab a box of Kleenex and a pint of your favorite ice-cream and experience the powerful stories of rock bottom moments and living a life of gratitude.
